On April 16, 2009 Julio Serna Ruiz passed away in the early morning hours. Julio will be truely missed by his wife Eulalia, daughters Maria, Isabel, and Martha. Sons Enrique, Juan, Rudolfo, and Daniel. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

These images were taken the day that Julio was laid to rest (April 22, 2009). Julio was interred at Holy Cross Cemetary in Culver City, California.
